Karachi (HRNW): Audiences in Pakistan don’t need to worry about missing out on even a single frame of Shah Rukh Khan, be it as Gaurav or Aryan Khanna. His upcoming film Fan was cleared for screening by Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

CBFC Chairman Mobasher Hasan revealed that the movie was reviewed by the initial seven-member and cleared without any cuts. “There is no objectionable content in the movie so the panel decided to give it a Universal (U) rating in Pakistan,” stated Hasan.

The CBFC is not the only censor board to clear the film as an official of the Punjab Board of Film Certification (PBFC) confirmed that they had also approved the film without any cuts.

When approached representatives of the Sindh Board of Film Certification (SBFC) were not available for comment. Apart from Fan, another Shah Rukh Khan-film that is also expected to release later this year is Raees. The movie marks the Bollywood debut of Pakistan television and film actor Mahira Khan.

Prior to its release there was a great deal of anticipation surrounding the film not just because Shah Rukh was essaying a double role in the movie but also because of his look. To look the part of a young boy, Khan underwent 3D scanning to create a more realistic appearance.

The movie has been directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films. It reunites Shah Rukh Khan with Yash Raj Films since Jab Tak Hai Jaan in 2012.
