Karachi Bikers Club’s Tour of Historical Sites in Thar, Sindh on the Occasion of World Tourism Day

Karachi (HRNW) On the occasion of World Tourism Day, the Karachi Bikers Club organized a magnificent motorcycle ride aimed at exploring the picturesque landscapes of Sindh and promoting local culture. This journey was led by the club’s admins Zeeshan Mujahid, Danish Shahid, and Danish Fahad.

The journey commenced on September 14, 2024, when over 40 motorcyclists set out from Karachi to explore Thar. During the preparation for the trip, all members were provided with safety instructions, which included wearing helmets, safety jackets, and ensuring proper motorcycle maintenance.

The first night of the trip began at 10 PM from Shahrah-e-Faisal, and the next morning, they entered Mithi city. The second day started with a visit to Mithi, where they observed various sites, including Gadhi Bhit, Islamkot, and Gori Mandir, an ancient Jain temple. The hospitality of the local people won their hearts, allowing them to further enjoy the local culture. After Mithi, they took pictures at the Thar Coal Power Plant and camped in tents in Bodhesar.

On the third day, the bikers set off for Churiyo Mandir, where they explored this significant site located near the Pakistan-India border, just 50 kilometers away from the Indian city of Rajasthan. They took pictures with the group, shared laughter, and relived stories from their journey.

While traveling to Karunjhar Mountains, the bikers enjoyed refreshing drinks and took in the stunning views of this beautiful area. At the end of the day, they had dinner at a local restaurant in Thar, where they enjoyed traditional food and purchased souvenirs to cherish for their loved ones.

The next morning, everyone safely returned to their homes after Fajr prayers.

This ride was not only a recreational activity but also promoted cultural exchange and connections with local people. Through this successful journey, the Karachi Bikers Club not only highlighted the importance of tourism but also showcased Sindh’s natural beauty and cultural heritage to the world. As a result, they hope to organize more such events in the future to promote local tourism and highlight the beauty of various regions of Pakistan.
