KABUL (HRNW): Afghan security forces have killed more than 100 Taliban insurgents in separate operations. More than 20 Afghan officials were killed in Taliban attacks.
According to the Afghan Ministry of Defense, 110 Taliban were killed and 81 wounded in fierce clashes with the Taliban in different provinces. Several Taliban hideouts and arsenals were also destroyed.
A car bomb and attack on a checkpoint in Helmand Province have killed more than 20 Afghan officials.
