Dhaka (HRNW): A passenger ferry collided with a cargo ship in Bangladesh and sank. Twenty-six people were killed and several others were missing in the accident. Fifty passengers were on board the boat.
The incident took place in the Sheet Lakhsia River south of Dhaka. Several missing persons are being searched. The heirs of the dead kept weeping on the beach.
Some people in the boat swam to shore and managed to save their lives. Rescue workers are searching for other survivors.
