ISLAMABAD-BOUND FLIGHT NARROWLY ESCAPES DISASTER

Karachi (HRNW): An Islamabad-bound flight narrowly escaped accident on Wednesday at the Karachi airport due to fault in engine. A PIA spokesman said that soon after take-off, a technical fault occurred in the engine of flight PK 300 and the pilot crash landed the plane at Karachi airport.

No one was hurt, the spokesman said, adding that the plane would leave for Islamabad once the fault was fixed.
