46,250 liters Irani Diesel and contraband items seizes by PCG

Karachi (HRNW)- Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) seized a huge quantity of Irani Diesel and contraband items at Naka Khari Check Post on RCD Highway near Windar (Balochistan).
On the special instructions of DG Pakistan Coast Guards about zero tolerance in the smuggling of Narcotics, PCG has intensified its efforts to curb the menace of drug trafficking from its area of responsibility. On credible information from intelligence resources about the smuggling of narcotics / contraband items in general area Windar on RCD Highway, following seizures were carried out by PCG Special checking during the preceding week:-
During checking of mazda truck at Naka Khari check post PCG officials recovered 46,250 liters of Irani diesel from 05 mazda trucks.
While on Naka Khari Check Post (Windar), PCG officials seized contraband items, 2,980 Kgs Betel Nut, 560 pkts Indian Gutka, 385 pkts Naswar and 33 Tyre of different of vehicles.
In other conduct in Gwadar, Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) officials also apprehended 01 Nigerian illegal immigrant on account of illegal border crossing. The individual was preceding from Trubat to Karachi without valid documents.
Approx value of Irani Diesel and contraband items in the market is Rs. 33.28 Millions.
Further investigation and legal process is under way.
