The Jammu-based Hurriyat organisations meeting held

Islamabad (HRNW)- The Jammu-based Hurriyat organisations, today, held a meeting in Islamabad to condole demise of the mother of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front leader, Kaka Hussain, who has been subjected to custodial disappearance by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir.

APHC-AJK General Secretary, Muhammad Hussain Khateeb chaired the condolence session while Mahmood Qureshi Advocate, Convener of Pir Panjal Peace Foundation, Mushtaq Zargar, Convener of Pir Panjal Civil Society, Naeem-ul-Hassan Khawaja, Convener of Anjuman Seerat Committee and Ali Hasnain Naqvi, media in-charge, attended it.

The mother of Kaka Hussain died at her residence in Khati Talab in Jammu city on Monday.

The participants of the meeting, paying glowing tributes to the deceased, said that she was a brave and pious woman and was great supporter and well-wisher of the ongoing freedom struggle.

They said that the family had suffered a lot since the 1947 massacre of Jammu but never gave up. They prayed Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.

Kaka Hussain was a prominent Muslim leader in Jammu who was arrested and subjected to custodial disappearance by Indian troops after he attended a case in a court in Jammu in mid 1990s.
