Two mortar shells fired from Afghanistan into Pakistan territory: FO

ISLAMABAD (HRNW) – Two mortar shells on Wednesday were fired into Pakistan territory from Afghanistan, confirmed Foreign Office.

In a statement, FO spokesperson Aisha Farooqui said that no casualties were reported so far. The Torkham border gate was closed for security concerns following the incident, she told.

“The matter is being coordinated with Afghan authorities,” she said.
