Govt decides to appoint Khalid Jawed Khan as new Attorney General

ISLAMABAD (HRNW) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan on Friday announced that the government has decided to appoint barrister Khalid Jawed Khan as new Attorney General of Pakistan.

In a tweet, the special assistant said supremacy of the Constitution and law is the top priority of PM Imran Khan, adding that the government respects all the constitutional institutions.

Meanwhile, PM Imran Khan has directed the law ministry to forward the summary regarding appointment of new AGP for approval today.
