PCG recovers huge quantity of Narcotics, arms & ammunition

Karachi (HRNW)- Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) seized fine quality of Hashish, Heroin arms from General area Pishukan Gwadar (Balochistan).
On the special instructions of DG Pakistan Coast Guards about zero tolerance in the smuggling of Narcotics, PCG has intensified its efforts to curb the menace of drug trafficking from its area of responsibility. On credible information from intelligence resources about the smuggling of narcotics in general area Pishukan, a seizure was carried out by PCG Special Mobile Patrol. Mobile patrol PCG officials stopped a suspicious vehicle in Pishukan. On searching the vehicle, PCG officials recovered 01x SMG, 01x Pistol (9mm), 06x magazine, 189 bullets, 150 kilograms Hashish and 09 kilograms of fine quality of Heroin. 04x smuggler along with arms and Narcotics arrested on the occasions. In another operation, PCG officials recovered approx 45 Kilograms of Hashish from the Hidden Cavities of Hino Trailer at Naka Khari check post (Windar) and 01 drug trafficker arrested. 05x drug traffickers alongwith Narcotics, Arms, Ammo and vehicles were taken under custody. Approx value of the drugs in international market is Rs. 549.78 Millions.
Further investigation and legal process is under way.
