ISLAMABAD: (HRNW) The Pakistan Air Force conducted a ceremony at the Air Headquarter to commemorate the first anniversary of the Feb 27 ‘Operation Swift Retort’.

Addressing the ceremony, Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan said that Pakistan Air Force is ready and resolute in defending the motherland against any misadventure.

“PAF is ready to defend the motherland and fully prepared to respond to any aggression. We will not compromise on sovereignty or territorial integrity of Pakistan,” he added.

The Air chief said that Pakistan will always stand with Kashmiris and will continue the moral, diplomatic support. He also paid tribute to Pakistani media for successfully fighting the Indian propaganda against Pakistan.

On Feb 27, last year, the PAF carried out Operation Swift Retort and shot down two Indian Air Force fighter aircraft and dropped bombs within the compounds of Indian military facilities in occupied Kashmir as a warning to the country’s belligerent neighbour.
