Wheat crisis report does not implicate me: Sami Ullah Chaudhary

LAHORE (HRNW) – Former Minister Food Security Punjab, Sami Ullah Chaudhary has said that the investigation report on wheat crisis has not leveled any allegation against him, his resignation was purely on principle.

Sami Ullah Chaudhary said that he will soon meet both the Chief Minister Punjab and Prime Minister Imran Khan and present the facts to them. He said that the inquiry report has not made any direct allegations against him and the only thing he is accused of is not bringing reforms in his department.

He further said that during his time, four Secretaries of the Punjab Food Department were changed, yet he still brought about multiple reforms and took steps for more as Minister.
