DRAP approves local manufacturing of chloroquine’s raw material: Dr Zafar Mirza

ISLAMABAD (HRNW) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Health Services Dr Zafar Mirza has on Thursday said that the government is taking all steps to counter novel coronavirus.

He told that the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has approved local manufacturing of the raw material of the anti-malarial drug, chloroquine.

Dr Zafar Mirza further added that the DRAP has also allowed the clinical trials of plasma therapy to counter the pandemic and the ventilators that have been manufactured in Pakistan.
