NDMA provides coronavirus safety kits worth $100,000 to PIA

Islamabad (HRNW) The National Disaster Management Authority of Pakistan has provided coronavirus precautionary kits worth $100,000 (equivalent to Rs15 million) to PIA.

The kits include safety gear, gloves and goggles that the PIA crew will use during flights. This will ensure that none of the cabin crew are infected with COVID-19 during flight operations.

PIA Chairman Arshad Malik thanked the NDMA chief for the supplies. The national carrier is working responsibly to play its part to fight the pandemic, he assured.

PIA has been conducting special flights to bring Pakistanis stuck abroad back to the country.
