Court turns down request to reopen Lahore’s parks on Eid

Lahore (HRNW)  The Lahore High Court turned down on Thursday a request to open parks and other public spaces on Eid.

Chief Justice Qasim Khan asked the petitioner whether he wanted a licence to kill children.

He said the Supreme Court was currently hearing a case on the coronavirus.

The lockdown imposed due to the virus is easing but many public spaces are still closed. The Supreme Court has ordered the provinces to reopen shopping malls and in many provinces public transport has also been restored.
