Sindh govt to set up IT industrial parks, develop IT sector, Taimur Talpur

Karachi (HRNW) Sindh minister Nawabzada Muhammad Taimur Talpur spent a very busy day on his first day after returning to Karachi from Umerkot. He attended an important meeting on information science and technology, after which he left for his departments, where he was presented a report on departmental performance. According to details, a delegation of the federal government led by Federal Minister for Information Technology Aminul Haq met Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Sindh Minister for Information Science and Technology Nawabzada Muhammad Taimur Talpur along with the delegations. The meeting discussed ways to reduce taxes on the IT-based industry and formulate a comprehensive policy for the promotion of IT. It was decided to work together to set up IT industrial parks, develop the IT sector and increase employment opportunities. On the occasion, the Sindh Chief Minister said that the Sindh government is committed to provide facilities to the IT industry. The meeting was attended by Federal Minister for IT IT Aminul Haq, Secretary IT Shoaib Siddiqui, Chairman Pakistan Software Export Board, MD and others, while Sindh Minister was accompanied by Chief Minister Sindh Nawabzada Muhammad Taimur. Talpur, Chairman SRB Khalid Mahmood, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sindh, Secretary Finance, VCNED University and others were present.
Later, Nawabzada Muhammad Taimur Talpur, left for his department, where he spent a busy day, meeting various people and delegations, while Director General Information Science and Technology Muhammad Yusuf gave a detailed briefing to the provincial minister on departmental affairs and presented his performance report.
Expressing satisfaction over the performance report, the provincial minister said that the Sindh government was committed to provide facilities to the IT industry. will Establish various software technology parks. He said that this is the age of IT and a large number of youth are involved in this sector. We will provide all possible relief to develop the IT industry.
The provincial minister further said that there are excellent opportunities for IT professionals abroad, we are trying to provide such technical training to our youth, with the help of which they will be able to compete abroad and get the best jobs.
