PESHAWAR: (HRNW) Private school owners and parents protested against the closure of schools in Peshawar due to the Corona epidemic. Protesters gathered in front of the press club and rallied on Sher Shah Suri Road.
The protesters demanded the government to open educational institutions under Corona SOPs. Demonstrators said the closure of educational institutions was wasting children’s precious time. The protesters demanded the government to reconsider the decision and continue educational activities under SOPs.
The protestors made it clear that if permission was not given to open educational institutions, teachers, students and owners of educational institutions would stage a sit-in in Islamabad D-Chowk.
