Floods, landslides kill more than 100 in Indonesia

Jakarta (HRNW) The death toll from floods and landslides in Indonesia has exceeded 100.

Floods and landslides caused by torrential rains have wreaked havoc in Indonesia and East Timor. Hundreds of people have been injured and several are missing.

Thousands of houses were submerged due to floods. The death toll is expected to rise further. Rescue workers are trying to reach remote and severely affected areas.
