ABAD demands extension of amnesty scheme for construction industry

KARACHI: (HRNW) Chairman Abad Fayyaz Ilyas has demanded that the government extend the amnesty scheme for the construction industry by one year.

The Abad chairman said that despite the Corona epidemic, the amnesty scheme has shown positive effects. Records of other construction products, including cement, iron, paint and tiles, are being sold, but the amnesty scheme targets could not be achieved due to lack of business activities during the lockdown.

Fayyaz Ilyas said that hundreds of projects have not been registered under the amnesty scheme so the amnesty scheme should be extended for one year.
