PML-N accuses government of presenting inaccurate economic data

KARACHI: (HRNW) Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has accused the government of misreporting the economy.

Muftah Ismail and Mohammad Zubair claimed that a minister had ordered an increase in the growth rate.

PML-N dismisses government’s claims of economic growth During a press conference in Karachi, the League leaders claimed that the government had misled the nation by releasing false statistics. Allegedly, a minister ordered higher rates.

League leaders claim that incumbent Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen has declared the policies of self-government useless.

PML-N leaders also termed the PML-N era as a period of economic development. Muftah Ismail and Mohammad Zabeer claimed that the PML-N had lifted 20 million people out of poverty during their tenure.
