Drug smuggling attempt foiled in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (HRNW): The ANFRD North in Islamabad foiled a drug trafficking attempt by acting on intelligence information.
During the operation, a white Suzuki Wagon R was stopped. A search of the vehicle turned up two kilograms of drugs. Police arrested two people. The accused were identified as Khayali Wali and Mohammad Zahid, both residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Authorities said the two arrested were drug dealers involved in the drug trade in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Further investigation has been started by registering a case against the accused.
