One killed, two injured in Northern Bypass factory blaze

Karachi (HRNW) At least one person was killed and two others were injured after a fire erupted at a battery factory in Karachi. The factory is located in Mohammad Khan Colony near Northern Bypass.

Two fire tenders, one each from Orangi Town Fire Station and SITE Fire Station, were rushed to the site. It took fire fighters almost three hours to extinguish the fire.
Three injured were shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment where one of them succumbed to injuries.
District West Senior Superintendent of Police Suhai Aziz told that fire broke out in the plastic section of the battery manufacturing unit. She said the cause of fire could not be ascertained immediately.
