KATI delegation visited Sir Syed University

KARACHI: (HRNW)  A delegation led by Korangi Association of Trade and Industry Vice President Nighat Awan visited Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology. The purpose of the visit was to review the departmental quality of education, vocational training and other facilities including laboratories. The delegation also included Ehteshamuddin, Maheen Salman and Syed Wajid Hussain.
Vice President KATI, Nighat Awan said that SSUET is a world class educational institution where international standard of education and vocational training is being imparted to the youth. Graduates of Sir Syed University are becoming the pride of the country and the nation in the field of engineering all over the world.

She said that KATI and Sir Syed University have to cooperate on issues of mutual interest and provide vocational training to the youth equipped with modern technology. She said that the university has not only maintained but also raised the standard of research. SSUET’s students and the teachers are commendable for getting this position.

The Vice President stressed that training workshops, seminars and conferences would be organized in collaboration with both the institutions. Nighat Awan expressed satisfaction over the steps taken by Sir Syed University for the promotion and improvement of higher education. She also visited the classes and reviewed the educational activities and environment of Sir Syed University.

Vice Chancellor of Sir Syed University Prof. Dr. Wali-ud-Din said that as per requirement of the industry, students are being imparted education in various fields so that innovation is created in the industries and the graduate students can develop the industrial sector with their services to the industries. He said competing in the international market the talented students of the university & engineers are promoting the name of the country, nation and nation with their talents all over the world.
