Karachi (HRNW) Dozens of encroachments, including intercity bus and coach depots, have been removed during Operation Clean Up by police and related agencies against encroachments at Sohrab Goth.
According to DSP Sohrab Goth Chaudhry Sohail Faiz, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah had recently held an open court in the area in which the citizens, among other issues, beat up encroachments around Sohrab Goth, Hassanabad and Super Highway. Also complained.
According to Chaudhry Sohail Faiz, in this regard, DIG Sharqi Saqib Ismail Memon issued strict instructions to him on which action was taken this morning after planning a systematic operation.
Sohail Faiz said that dozens of encroachments were removed during the operation which continued till noon, including other encroachments including intercity bus and coach depots around Al-Asif Square and Super Highway.
According to the police, operations will continue in this regard.
