Sadiq Memon pays surprise visit to Govt Special Education Centre Thatta.

Karachi. (HRNW)  Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Sindh Sadiq Ali Memon has paid a surprise visit to Government Special Education and Rehabilitation Center Jungshahi Road Makli Thatta on Saturday. During his visit he inspected various on going classes and checked attendance registers of the students and muster roll as well. During his visit he was accompanied by PPP Youth Wing Thatta President Ghulam Haider Samu.

On his visit Principal Nadeem Ibrahim briefed SACM on DEPD Sadiq Ali Memon that presently as many as 65 children with disabilities were getting education and they were being provided physiotherapy, pre-vocational training, free pick and drop, free uniforms, stationary, school bags, books and sports/ music facilities as well. Principal Nadeem Ibrahim also informed SCAM on DEPD Sadiq Ali Memon that annual picnic was also arranged for these students with disabilities and they were also encouraged to participate in extra curriculum activities too.

Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Sindh Sadiq Ali Memon appreciated the performance of the institution and asked them to enhance these facilities as the teachers could play a very comprehensive role in encouraging these children with disabilities to stand on their own feet and become independent in life to come.
