KARACHI: (HRNW) A dacoit who snatched money from a businessman and fled in Ayub Goth area of Karachi was shot dead by a security guard while another dacoit was arrested with injuries.
According to details released by Sohrab Goth police, four robbers snatched Rs 45,000 from a poultry trader in Ayub Goth area.
Meanwhile, security guard Kamresh Khan posted at a nearby warehouse opened fire, killing one dacoit and injuring another.
The dead robber was identified as Imam Din while the injured was identified as Javed Ali. Two accomplices of the robbers escaped. Police arrived after the incident and arrested the injured dacoit and seized a pistol and two motorcycles. Further investigation is underway.
