Meeting chaired by Commissioner Karachi, review of arrangements for Chehlum procession

KARACHI: (HRNW) A meeting chaired by Commissioner Karachi Naveed Ahmed Sheikh reviewed the arrangements for the main Chehlum procession of Hazrat Imam Hussain. Deputy Commissioner South Irshad Soodhar briefed the commissioner about the arrangements for the central procession.
The organizers of the main procession assured the meeting that the Corona SOPS would be followed during the procession.
It was decided at the meeting that full security would be provided to the main procession. The meeting decided to take special measures to clean the procession routes and the sides of mosques and imam bargahs.
Commissioner Karachi issued orders for installation of street lights on the main procession routes. The commissioner also directed the concerned officers to resolve the issues related to the procession.
