Delegation from the German development agency GIZ visited Alhamra Arts Center

Lahore (HRNW) A four-member delegation from the German development agency GIZ visited Alhamra Arts Center, the Mall. On their arrival, Executive Director Alhamra Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi welcomed the delegation members.
On the occasion, LAC organized an Interactive Session in collaboration with FC College and the German development agency GIZ at Adbi Bethak. The purpose of the session was to educate the women about their rights and the difficulties in raising awareness about their rights. Chairperson Alhamra Moneeza Hashmi, in her speech at the beginning of the session, welcomed all the guests and participants. She said that Our Pakistani women are getting the knowledge about their rights, and they know how to use this awareness campaign positively,” she said. This outreach campaign is undoubtedly encouraging them and easing the difficulties that come their way.
During the visit, the delegation enjoyed the performances of Alhamra Academy of Performing Arts students. The members appreciated the students’ performances and efforts of Alhamra to make this campaign a success.
The Executive Director Alhamra Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi said that Lahore Arts Council is providing women with equal opportunities in all fields of fine arts. He further said that Alhamra always sends a message of peace and love to the whole world through this platform. That is why delegations from all over the world visited Alhamra, which is very important and pleasurable for us, he added.
The members of the delegation included Mr. Julius Spatz, Asia Division Head Mr. Tobias Becker, Country Director GIZ Pakistan Ms. Julia Thutewohl, Country Director Mr. Sanjeev Pokharel, Head of Logo II Program Dr. Altaf Ullah Khan, Dean of Humanities (FCCU) Ms. Racel Arouna Hasan, Chairperson, Mass Communication Department.
