Sindh CM directs KE to fix power crisis in Karachi

KARACHI: (HRNW) Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah on Tuesday ordered K-Electric to immediately fix the electricity crisis in the metropolis.

Sindh CM Murad Shah directed Provincial Energy Minister Imtiaz Sheikh to talk to K-Electric, the sole power supplying company of Karachi, to control the rising crisis of electricity.

He said protracted power outages by K-Electric were creating the issue of law and order.

“K-Electric should rectify its system. How much pain will the masses bear?” the chief minister asked annoyingly.

The residents of Karachi are facing power cuts of up to 14 hours daily.
