Nation will witness largest gathering on July 2: Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: (HRNW) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said the nation will witness the largest political gathering on July 2 against the government.

Addressing the Workers Convention, the former prime minister urged party activists to go door-to-door and campaign against the government which was imposed through a foreign conspiracy.

“Those looting us for three decades were imposed. We don’t need any enemies. Bring these looters and the nation will collapse,” he said, adding that is their responsibility to protest peacefully against the government.

He said the Shehbaz Sharif and his sons are facing corruption cases worth Rs24 billion and the accused and investigating officers in the case have died unnatural deaths. “This government was imposed by the United States not for our benefit but for their servitude,” he added.

He said the government attempted to end all corruption cases against their leaders, brought NAB and FIA under their control and then ended Rs1,100 billion worth corruption cases.

He said the government imposed unprecedented inflation in the next two months and prices of all commodities have surged. “The ended all cases, imposed inflation and economy has fallen.”

He said the economic survey of Pakistan released by the government proves that last two years of PTI government were better than last 17 years. He said the PTI improved the economy and provided more jobs then previous two government while exports were also on the rise.
