Meeting at Alhamra to review the programs to be held this week

LAHORE (HRNW) An important meeting was held under Executive Director Lahore Arts Council Farhat Jabeen to review the programs to be held this week at Alhamra Arts Center, the Mall. It was decided in the meeting to hold workshops, exhibitions, posters, and souvenir design competitions. The senior officers also appreciated the successful organization of the three-day craft fair.
Executive Director Lahore Arts Council Farhat Jabeen said that the Punjab government is carrying out art promotion activities in Alhamra. She further noted that Alhamra is uninterruptedly continuing the people’s language, literature, and culture programs. In this regard, a calligraphy workshop will be held today at 4 pm in Alhamra Hall No. 2, where eminent calligraphers will provide training. Many calligraphy learners have registered for the three-day calligraphy workshop, she added.
Artists can send their artwork to the Alhamra Art Museum by July 18 under the Souvenir Design Competition. The deadline to submit the work to participate in the poster competition for awareness of the Access to Information Act is July 7. Winners would get a cash prize, certificates of appreciation, and shields. All the officers of Alhamra attended the meeting and shared their valuable views.
