Pakistan Diamond Jubilee Celebrations Started at Alhamra

Lahore (HRNW) The four-day-long Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the 75th Independence Day of Pakistan started at Alhamra, organized by the Department of Information and Culture, Punjab. Punjab’s culture and heritage are being highlighted in the 75-year Diamond Jubilee celebrations. Stalls of handicrafts, horse dance, folk music, and traditional food stalls from Punjab are part of this festival.
In this regard, Executive Director Alhamra Farhat Jabeen said that the Department of Information and Culture’s efforts are an expression of its civilization. Jabeen further said that Punjab’s land is faithful to its ancestors’ golden principles; the protection of traditions and the respect of passions are the true colours of Punjab.
Department of Information and Culture has organized a fantastic festival after working day and night. The department has said in its comments that Punjab has a unique place in the world culturally, from the weather to the cities, towns and villages. They further noted that the soil of Punjab includes love and loyalty to the country and the nation, which is why every department of information and culture has made special preparations on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day of the dear homeland.
The purpose of all these efforts is to pay tribute to all the leaders of the freedom movement and salute their courage. Our leaders have not spared any sacrifice for the dear country. That is why we all should leave no stone unturned for the safety and development of this country. The four-day celebrations will continue till 14th August.
