Alhamra, Mark the 75th Independence Day with Full Enthusiasm

Lahore (HRNW) The 14thof August celebrations at Alhamra Arts Council started with flag hoisting. Many children participated on this occasion. Executive Director Alhamra Farhat Jabeen led the Freedom Walk and said we should be thankful to Allah for this great blessing. “We could not forget those who sacrificed their lives in the freedom movement; therefore, Alhamra salutes all its martyrs, she added.

On Independence Day, Lahore Arts Council released the national song “Pyara Pakistan,” sung by famous singer Sahir Ali Baga as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations by the Department of Information and Culture Punjab.

The famous play “Aainak Wala Jin, a children’s painting competition based on the images of the leaders of independence, as well as the story-telling session to enlighten the freedom movement’s sacrifices, was also a part of the celebrations.

Director Art & Culture Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi, Deputy Director Aftab Ahmed Ansari, and other officers and employees, besides the people, participated in large numbers and made the occasion memorable.
