Action will be taken against those who use plots allotted for industrial purposes for commercial purposes. Jam Ikramullah Dharejo

Karachi (HRNW)  Provincial Minister for Industries, Commerce & Cooperative Department Jam Ikramullah Dharejo has said that strict action will be taken against those who use industrial plots for commercial purposes and the plots of those who do not pay the arrears will also be canceled within a month. He said this today while presiding over the 75th meeting of the Board of Governors of Sindh Small Industries Corporation. The meeting was held in Sindh Secretariat under the chairmanship of Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Jam Ikramullah Dharejo.

In the meeting, Secretary Industries and Commerce Sindh Najamuddin Sahito, MD Sindh Small Industries Corporation Dr M.B. Dharejo and representatives of Hyderabad, Dadu Chamber of Commerce were also present. In the meeting, the proposed budget of Sindh Small Industries Corporation for 2022-23 was approved. Approval was also given to set up septic tanks for disposal of industrial waste and polluted water.

Addressing the meeting, Provincial Minister for Industries, Commerce & Cooperative Department Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said that by setting up of septic tanks, human lives would be protected.
Environmental pollution would also be reduced. Jam Ikramullah Dharejo directed that the process of converting industrial plots into commercial plots should be stopped. In the meeting, the maintenance charges have been reduced from Rs 50 per square yard to Rs 25 per annum. The industrialists expressed their gratitude to the Sindh government for agreeing to their long-standing demand to reduce the maintenance charges.

The provincial minister directed the MD Sindh Small Industries Corporation to collect the arrears within a month and said that the plots of those who do not pay the arrears should be canceled and the industrial plots should be used only for industrial purposes. Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said that
strict action should be taken against those who violate industrial laws.
