KARACHI (HRNW) One accused was killed in an encounter with Gulshan Iqbal police while two accomplices escaped. Motorcycle, weapons and cash were recovered from the dead accused.
According to SSP East Abdul Rahim Shirazi, the accused had snatched the motorcycle KOE-4696 from a citizen named Liaqat and escaped. The three accused were going with the intention of another incident.
When the police tried to stop the suspects, they opened fire. After two-way firing, one accused Tahir was killed while two accomplices escaped.
