Karachi (HRNW) In the meeting of the Senate Interior Committee, the Sindh Police has stated that the number of crimes in Karachi is low in terms of population.

During a briefing on the increasing incidents in Karachi, the Sindh Police said that a large number of refugees have been coming to Karachi, crime is less in Karachi in terms of population.

Sindh Police said that killings in the province are mostly due to personal enmity, people in Karachi bring enmities from Waziristan and interior Sindh.

During the briefing, it was told that there was a time when 48 dead bodies were found in Karachi every day, 396 people have been killed so far this year.

Sindh Police said that only street crime is a big problem in Karachi at the moment, 49 thousand motorcycles are stolen in the city every year, in terms of population, Karachi has less crime than Lahore and Peshawar.
