KARACHI (HRNW) IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon has directed police officers to provide foolproof security on the occasion of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi celebration and by-elections.
A meeting was held at the police head office under the chairmanship of IG Sindh, in which the monitoring of the main procession of the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal and the security measures on the routes were reviewed.
IG Sindh directed the officers to monitor moment by moment all the processions, big and small, taken out on the occasion of 12th Rabi’ul Awwal, regular entries of position should be noted. The main procession routes, sweeping and clearance of concert venues should be ensured.
The IG further said that security should be made extraordinary during local body elections and by-elections. Additional IG Karachi, Zonal DIGs and District SSPs Karachi were also present in the meeting.
