Karachi: 3 suspects arrested for robbing citizens

Karachi (HRNW) Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) and police, acting on intelligence information, arrested 3 suspects of robbery gang from Sohrab Goth and Hussain Hazara Goth.

Among the accused are the leader of dacoit gang Sikandar Ali alias Sku, Muhammad Rafiq alias Gusho Gopang and Amjad Ali Dayo.

According to the spokesman of the Rangers, 1 lakh rupees, 2 auto rickshaws and a motorcycle have been recovered from the possession of the accused.

The accused have admitted that they used to make passengers sit in their rickshaws at Punjab Bus Stand, Al-Asif Square, Water Pump Chowrangi, Sadar, Shaara-e-Faisal and other areas in Sohrab Goth and rob them of cash and valuables.

The accused have revealed that they have so far recovered Rs 45 to Rs 50 lakh and stolen goods from the passengers.

The Rangers authorities have handed over the arrested suspects along with the rickshaw, motorcycle, cash and stolen goods to the police for further legal action.
