Decision to demolish more than 6 thousand illegal constructions in Karachi

Karachi (HRNW) Sindh Building Control Authority Director General Ishaq Khoro has said that more than 6 thousand illegal constructions will be demolished in Karachi. Illegal constructions will not be allowed in the city.

In an interview, DGSBCA said that a task force has been formed on the special instructions of Nasir Hussain Shah, who is engaged in day and night action against illegal constructions in the city. This team also carries out demolitions on holidays.

He said that in different areas of Karachi Federal Bar, Nazimabad, Lyari, Mehmoodabad, Liaquatabad, Korangi, Shah Faisal Colony, Jamshed Road, Tariq Road, Bahadurabad, Gulshan Iqbal, Gulistan Johar and other areas. A lot of action has been taken against illegal constructions and in future also a lot of action will be taken in different areas.

He said that the formation of the task force has accelerated the action against illegal constructions in the city, so far more than 50 illegal constructions have been demolished in 30 days.
