International Islamic Art Festival concluded with the Message of Peace & Love

Lahore (HRNW) The four-day International Islamic Art Festival organized by Lahore Arts Council Alhamra and Pakistan Arts Council Karachi has ended with all the blessings and auspiciousness here at Alhamra Arts Center, the Mall. Delegates and intellectuals, scholars, and artists from Pakistan and other Muslim countries, including Turkey, Iran, Yemen and Saudi Arabia, participated in the Festival in the four-day International Islamic Art Festival.
Even on the last day of the Festival, seminars, exhibitions, calligraphy competitions, and other activities continued in which the participation of people in large numbers sealed the success of the Festival.
While a large audience of all ages was present in the workshop on calligraphy manuscripts, Yemeni research scholar and master calligrapher Dr Zaki Ali Al Hashmi provided the training. In addition to the workshop and exhibition, various book fairs and stalls set up in Alhamra also became the centre of public attention.
Provincial Finance Minister Punjab Sardar Mohsin Laghari was the chief guest of the closing ceremony. Laghari congratulated the organizers for the successful organization of the International Islamic Art Festival. Speaking at the event, Sardar Mohsin Laghari said that the peace, development and prosperity of the world are due to the principles given by Islam. Islamic values are the guarantor of the greatness and perfection of the individual and society.
Chairman Alhamra Razi Ahmad and Executive Director Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi expressed their heartfelt thanks to the delegates from all over the world and all the scholars and other influential personalities from different corners of the country while delivering the closing remarks and wished all the guests well.
The distribution of certificates and souvenirs was also exchanged in the farewell ceremony. On this occasion, local and foreign delegates added to the beauty of the ceremony. Yemeni scholars Zaki Ali Al Hashmi, Kazim Khorasani, Irfan Qureshi, Jafar Ronas, and other foreign intellectuals participated in the ceremony.
Executive Director Alhamra Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi, while delivering the closing remarks in the ceremony, also appreciated the services of Pakistan Calligraphy Association General Secretary Irfan Qureshi. He also thanked all who worked day and night to organize this Festival.
At the end of the ceremony, a Mehfil-e- Naat was organized at 6 pm, in which the famous Naat Khuwan showered flowers of devotion on the Messenger of God Muhammad PBUH, full of love. In large numbers, the festival participants appreciated this effort of Alhamra and expressed their desire to continue this tradition.
