Cop killing: Police to take help from Interpol

KARACHI: (HRNW) The suspect, Khurram Nisar, who killed a cop in Karachi’s DHA area has fled to Sweden and the police have decided to contact International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol) for him.

The decision came as the suspect after shooting the cop dead fled to Sweden in the wee hours on Tuesday.

It also emerged that the suspect is the son of a former bureaucrat – who killed the policeman when inquired about suspicious activity.

On the other hand, the accomplice of Khurram in a statement said that the accused claimed that he had a brawl with someone which is why he wanted to leave Pakistan.

The accomplice, Aamir, said that Khurram came to his hotel after shooting the cop and informed him that he want to flee. “Khurram had a brawl earlier as well, so I thought that is the case.”

Aamir also told that the tickets were not booked in advance and he dropped Khurram to the airport along with his wife. “My wife was also with me as she wanted to go Dubai.”
