(HRNW) – Renowned Russian journalist and co-laureate of the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize Dmitry Muratov amid ongoing destructive Russia-Ukraine war said that Russia will never be able to conquer Ukraine.
Speaking at the 30th annual Reporters Without Borders (RSF) Press Freedom Awards, Muratov described the muzzle of the press in Russia as a pillar of Kremlin propaganda. He added that while Moscow can “destroy” Ukraine’s infrastructure, it will “never be able to conquer it”.
