COAS Asim Munir meets Saudi Crown Prince

Riyadh (HRNW) Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir meets Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman and discussed bilateral relations and the ways to enhance them.

The Saudi Press Agency reported the event early Monday and shared the pictures from the meeting that was held in the honour of the army chief in the Saudi city of AlUla.

“The army chief and the Saudi crown prince reviewed bilateral relations and the ways of enhancing them, in addition to a number of issues of common concern,” said the agency.

The reception was also attended by Saudi Arabia’s Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman and National Security Adviser Dr Musaed bin Muhammad al Aiban.

Pertinently, the army chief reached Makkah from Riyadh during his official visit to Saudi Arabia. He visited the Great Mosque Masjid-ul-Haram and performed Umrah.

The door of the Holy Kaabah was specially opened for the dignitary. He performed Nawafil and prayed for the development and prosperity in Pakistan as well as peace and stability in the country.

Gen Asim Munir is on an official visit to Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 4-10th January. This is his first visit after he assumed charge as the army chief in November last year.
