UAE president’s trip to Pakistan cancelled after bad weather

ISLAMABAD: (HRNW) The PM Office said on Monday that Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), will not be travelling to Islamabad for the day owing to inclement weather.

According to a statement, “Due to weather conditions, President HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s visit to the friendly Islamic Republic of Pakistan scheduled for today has been postponed to a later date.”

Today’s visit by the President of the UAE to Islamabad was planned to examine measures to strengthen ties of friendship and collaboration between the Gulf nation and Pakistan.
