Rangers arrest over 64 suspects including eight most wanted in Karachi

KARACHI: (HRNW) Sindh Rangers on Tuesday arrested more than 64 suspects including eight most wanted during raids in different areas of Karachi.

The Rangers spokesperson said raids were carried out in Katti Pahari, Orangi Town and Kanwari Colony along with police force. He said 48 of the arrested suspects were Afghan immigrants.

Arms, drugs and four motorcycles were recovered from the suspects’ possession, the spokesperson said. He said operation in various areas was carried out on directive of the Sindh Rangers director general.

On the other hand, Pakistan Railways Police claimed to have arrested a total of 3,189 suspects because of their alleged involvement in violations of rules and laws and also registered some 3,111 cases against them in eight Railways divisions during 2022.
