LAKKI MARWAT: (HRNW) Security forces killed 12 terrorists of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Lakki Marwat area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa .
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said the operation was conducted on the information of terrorists’ presence in Lakki Marwat. The security forces met a shootout with the terrorists when they were fleeing the area in a vehicle.
During exchange of firing, 12 terrorists were killed while weapons and Afghan currency were recovered from their custody.
Later, a clearance operation was carried out in the area.
The tribal leaders of the area have lauded the action of the security forces for eliminating the terrorists from the area.
