Fake census will not be accepted under any circumstances: Hafiz Naeem

KARACHI: (HRNW) Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman rejects the digital census saying that the fake census will not be accepted under any circumstances.

While addressing the press conference he said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has pressurized ROs and ECP to halt the results of six union councils.

He said that it was the job of the Election Commission to obstruct them from forgery, “We will not sit quietly at home, we will use our democratic rights, Jamaat-e-Islami will not give up even on one vote.”

While touching on the census in Karachi, he said that the process has not started in Karachi so far.

Hafiz Naeem said that the digital census system will also collapse like RTS but JI demands to extend the period of online registration for a month.

He also alleged rigging in the re-counting of votes Union Committee-VI of Akhtar Colony.

“You are depriving the people of Karachi; we will raise our voices and won’t talk until the results are not corrected. We want the result of votes, the people have entrusted us,” he demanded.

He demanded re-election in 11 union councils of Karachi.
