Karachi (HRNW) Bilal Colony Police arrested a bandit in an injured condition as a result of two-way firing during the encounter, while the accomplice of the accused escaped while firing at the policemen.
The police encounter took place at 4K Chowrangi of Bilal Colony when the accused were coming from Sarjani Sector 5D after shooting and injuring a citizen during the incident. In the retaliatory firing, one accused Yusuf was arrested while injured, while the other accomplice escaped while firing at the police.
The arrested accused said that he was snatching an iPhone and 125 motorcycles from Sarjani Town limits, Sector 5D, when he encountered the police at 4K Chowrangi and started firing in panic.
1 TT pistol 30 bore load magazine, 2 mobile phones and 125 motorcycle were recovered from the possession of the injured accused.
