Mirpurkhas (HRNW) The Divisional Commissioner Mirpurkhas Syed Aijaz Ali Shah visited the Ramadan bachat bazaar which was set up under the directions of Government of Sindh andebele setup by the local administration at Baldia Chowk here today. During the visit , The Divisional Commissioner has directed the concerned to keep the common essential items in the said bazar for the people so that they could get the benefits of the bazars. He told the Deputy Commissioner Zain ul Aabdin Memon that it is the responsibility of the district administration to provide relief to the common people. Ensure daily inspection and vigil over the price hike to meet the shortage of daily consumption items. On this occasion, the Commissioner was told that the essential items including flour, sugar, pulses, ghee, rice and other items are kept in the bachat bazaar on cheap rates and monitoring of price hike were already underway under the clear instructins of Chief Minister Sindh in this regard to provideo relief to common man during the holy montha of Ramzan especially . He Directing the Deputy Commissioner, that now all the officers concerned have the powers of the Magistrate, in case of injustice with the people, with regard to increased rates they use their powers to give relief to the people, take strict action against the hoarders and peddlers and impose necessary penalty on them. On this occasion the Divisional Commissioner checked and enquired the official rates were complied or otherwise the prices were also ascertained from the fruit and vegetable sellers. they were also instructed to sell fruits and vegetables to the people at fixed rates in the blessed month of Ramadan. On this occasion, he said that the price list issued by the administration should be displayed in a prominent place on all shops, thelas and stalls etc. Deputy commissioner Zainul Abdeen Memon Assistant Commissioners, Mirpurkhas Ghulam Hussain Kanhio, Assistant Commissioner Sindhari Mohammad Yunus Rand, Anjuman Tajran President Anisur Rahman Sheikh, General Secretary Amin Memon and others were also accompanied during the visit.
