ISLAMABAD (HRNW) – Federal Defense Minister Khawaja Muhamad Asif has criticized former Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar over an alleged audio leak, saying that “Mr. Saqib Nisar! You went too far in the enmity of Nawaz Sharif.”
The alleged audio leak was between lawyer Khawaja Tariq Rahim and former CJP Saqib Nisar. Khawaja Asif took to Twitter to express his disappointment over the conversation, saying that he was saddened to hear about Mr. Nisar’s alleged enmity towards Nawaz Sharif.
Mr Asif further revealed that the former top judge had expressed his reservations regarding Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif to him, but those reservations were baseless according to Mr Asif.
The PML-N leader also accused Justice ® Nisar of bias, saying that he gave verdicts against Nawaz Sharif and asked how long the judge would keep flourishing his venom.
The alleged audio leak has caused a stir in political circles.
